TOWN VS. BEACH
Taormina is divided between the historic town center (up high) and the beach areas, such as Isola Bella (down below). We especially recommend staying near the town center for easier access to shops, restaurants, and evening life. Villa Mon Repos is near the coast, but the town center is where most of the activity is.
